Job Summary & Descriptions :
The Project Coordinator will assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing project activities to ensure smooth execution from inception to completion. You will support project managers and site teams, ensuring effective communication, compliance with schedules, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Planning and Coordination :
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, work plans, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Track project progress and update stakeholders regularly on milestones and timelines.
- Documentation and Reporting :
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including drawings, permits, and correspondence.
- Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and project updates for management and clients.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company and regulatory standards.
- Procurement and Resource Management :
- Support procurement activities by liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to source materials and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Address resource-related issues to prevent delays.
- Quality and Compliance :
- Ensure all project activities comply with quality standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate inspections and resolve any non-compliance issues promptly.
- Assist in addressing client concerns and ensuring project deliverables meet expectations.
- Communication and Coordination :
- Act as a point of contact between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the internal project team.
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings to address updates, challenges, and action plans.
- Resolve on-site coordination issues in collaboration with the site team.
- Health and Safety :
- Ensure compliance with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Support the implementation of safety initiatives and conduct site checks for compliance.
Requirements :
- Diploma or Degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in construction or A&A projects in Singapore.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, schedules, and documentation practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
Preferred Attributes :
- Experience in managing commercial or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of Singapore’s building codes and regulations.
- Familiarity with green construction practices or sustainable building methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
